Happy Doggie Ending: Brody the Mini Schnauzer
Brody, a female spayed black and silver mini schnauzer, was 11 years old when she was surrendered to SROMN in July 2016 because her owner was no longer able to care for her.
Brody had been very loved, unfortunately her owner wasn’t able to care for her like Brody should be cared for. Brody’s fur had not been groomed for months, and her teeth had become very rotted. Brody’s owner also would forget to let Brody outside, therefore Brody would be forced to urinate and defecate in the house. Brody frequently hid under the sofa. Upon taking Brody in, it was discovered that she had a low grade heart murmur and beyond severe dental disease. Luckily, Brody was able to receive the medical attention she deserved immediately. In less than a week from Brody being surrendered, she had full lab work, x-rays of her heart and abdomen, and all of her teeth removed. It was also discovered that Brody is very house trained, and has not had a single accident in the home! As luck would have it, Brody landed in the perfect, most loving home possible! She is now the apple of her mama's eye, enjoying frequent walks and squirrel chasing with endless love! Never again will Brody have to suffer from neglect! She is a great little dog with a great new mom and kitty sister! Brody and her new mom are a match made for each other! They found each other at the perfect time, and will continue to improve both their physical and emotional health together! Congratulations the two of you! |
