Do you need to rehome your mini, standard, or giant schnauzer?

Making the decision that you can no longer care for your pet is extremely difficult, but it is the responsible thing to do.  The next step is finding an organization to trust with your beloved pet.  Schnauzer Rescue of Minnesota is a reputable non-profit (state) rescue.  We have successfully placed several different dogs with several different types of personalities.

We know schnauzers.

We understand the idiosyncrasies that schnauzers have, and accept them the way they are!  If a schnauzer needs training, we take care of that, as we have agreements with several different training facilities in the metro area.  If they have medical issues, we also take care of that!  In fact, SROMN is run by a veterinarian.

You can trust us to take the best care of your dog when you no longer can!  For adoption, potential adopters must fill out an application, which includes detailed information about them, their pets, and their family.  They must also list 3 references and a veterinary reference.  If that goes well, we then perform a home check with a separate appointment for a meet and greet with the dog they are interested in.

If you find yourself in this position, please contact us at schnauzerrescueofmn@gmail.com for a surrender application.
